If you thought you were using your iPhone to its full potential, think again. A new device and App has debuted in Australia which allows diabetics to prick their finger on the go, and record results on their iPhone. The device attaches to the end of the iPhone, reads blood samples, records the history of samples in the app, and can even “be sent directly to medical professionals for instant analysis.”

Mothers are finding assurance regarding their children’s safety with the new application. Mother, Annemarie Branson shared that her children send their glucose results after each testing, right from their phone to hers. Not only will this application provide a sense of security to mothers, but also could assist anyone on the go wishing to better manage their disease.
